Project Spotlight: Septic System Repair Project in Tacoma, WA

Our crew recently completed a septic system repair project for a homeowner in Tacoma, WA after an inspection uncovered significant deterioration inside one of the concrete septic tanks. Once the system was exposed, we found multiple areas where the concrete had begun to break down, including holes and cracks that could allow wastewater to leak and groundwater to enter the tank.

To access the damaged components, we carefully excavated around the septic tank and exposed the access lids for a full inspection. After pumping the tank, we were able to clearly evaluate the interior walls and identify the damaged sections that required repair. The inspection revealed concrete deterioration along the tank walls and floor, making timely repairs essential to protect the integrity of the septic system.

Our technicians performed the necessary repairs to restore the damaged concrete and seal compromised areas, helping prevent additional infiltration and extending the life of the existing septic tank. Throughout the project, we maintained a clean work area while minimizing disruption to the homeowner’s yard.

By completing the repairs before the damage became more severe, the homeowner was able to avoid the much higher cost of replacing the entire septic tank. The repaired system is now in much better condition and ready to continue operating reliably. Regular septic inspections are one of the best ways to catch structural issues early, allowing homeowners to make repairs before they develop into major failures or environmental concerns.
